Drake fans will have to wait until 2017 to getMore Life.
During Saturday’s episode of OVOSOUND Radio, Drake manager’s Oliver El-Khatib revealed that the project has been delayed until early next year.
“More Lifeis coming at the top of 2017,” said El-Katib, who didn’t share the reason behind the delay. “Stay tuned for some more updates.”
Billed as a “playlist,”More Lifewas originally set to drop in December. Drake premieredthree tracks from the project—”Two Birds, One Stone,” the London On Da Track-produced “Sneakin’” featuring 21 Savage, and “Fake Love”—during an episode of OVOSOUND Radio in October.
This weekend, Drake is celebrating the launch of his latest OVO flagship storein New York City. Last night, he joined PNDon stage at his show at The Wiltern in L.A. to perform “Fake Love,” “Pop Style,” and “One Dance.”
Drake has a big year ahead. In addition to droppingMore Life, he is nominatedfor eight awards at the 59th Annual Grammys. He will also head to Europe for “The Boys Meets World Tour,”which kicks off Jan. 21 in Amsterdam.
